The line of 15.6-inch gaming laptops represents the Legion profile series from Lenovo. These are portable PCs in a rather discreet design with productive hardware that will satisfy the needs of a wide audience of gamers. The models of the family can be classified as middle class and recommended to all those who expect high fps in AAA games, not only at Full HD resolution. Characteristic features of Lenovo Legion 5 15ARP8 laptops include a pre-installed Windows 11 Home operating system, a white keyboard backlight, a flexible Internet connection (there is both a gigabit LAN and a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) module), and, of course, a good discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 video card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory. The latter supports ray tracing, virtual reality technologies and the Advanced Optimus optimization system, and its peak graphics potential reflects a TDP power rating of 140 W. Among the other components of the line, it is worth highlighting the 8-core Rizen 7 processor of the Rembrandt R family (based on Zen 3+ microarchitecture) with a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz, 16 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz RAM (without the possibility of upgrade) and a solid-state drive from 512 GB to 1 TB. To display images, there is an IPS display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, 100% sRGB color gamut and an increased refresh rate of 165 Hz. The 60 Wh rechargeable battery also deserves special mention, which should provide over 7 hours of battery life with subsequent fast charging (it is claimed to replenish up to 70% of the capacity in just half an hour). Other features of the laptops include the Power Delivery function, the presence of a webcam with a protective shutter and a completely standard set of interfaces with HDMI v 2.1 and two USB C.
